Shopping Centres

The following lists some of the Gold Coast's largest shopping centres, great for those looking for a one-stop shop:

• Pacific Fair

Markets

The following markets make for a great day out; at these, shop for locally designed arts and crafts and locally produced foods:

• Broadbeach Markets
  Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 8am till 2.30pm.. Held in Kurrawa Park on the beachfront opposite the Oasis Shopping Centre.

• Coolangatta Markets
  Every 2nd Sunday of the month (and the 4th Sunday of 5th Sunday months) from 8am till 2.30pm. In the park off Marine Parade, on the beachfront, opposite the Showcase Shopping Centre.

• Burleigh Markets
  Every last Sunday of the month, runs from 8am till 2.30pm. The wonderful Burleigh markets are held in the park off The Esplanade running from the 1st to the 3rd Avenues.

• Carrara Markets
  The largest permanent markets in Queensland offering an unlimited variety of products with over 500 stalls including plants, fresh produce, clothing, shoes, arts & crafts, jewellery, tools, leather goods, toys and more. Open every Saturday and Sunday this bargain hunters paradise attracts crowds of over 25,000 every weekend. Offering something for everyone with free entertainment, free entry and free parking. Enjoy a world famous market breakfast from 6.30am or enjoy a snack, cold beer, soft drink or coffee throughout the day at one of the many cafes. Every Saturday & Sunday from 6.30am till 4.30pm.

• Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets
  Explore up to 100 market stalls stretching along the Surfers beachfront promenade, every Wednesday and Friday evening frin 5.30pm till 10pm. A selection of locally made gift ideas ranging from accessories, crafts, artworks, beauty products, homewares, jewellery and music. Located between Hanlan Street and Elkhorn Ave.

• Broadbeach Mall
  The Lantern Market is held every Friday night in the Broadbeach Mall between September and May. An ideal place to shop for gifts or to have a great night out. Featuring over 150 unique stalls displaying arts, crafts, souvenirs and tasty treats this vibrant market is not to be missed. Every Friday, 6pm till 10pm (Between September and May).
